The Gold Coast's tranquil rural hinterland and World Heritage rainforest reserves feature a blessing of animal and plant species to rival any other region in the world. As the sun goes down, the city jumps with award-winning restaurants, nightclubs, nightclubs, bars, casinos and once-in-a-lifetime shows from international artists. Plus the thrill of spectacular theme parks, shopping or exciting events make it a memorable experience.
Dream world: It is Gold Coast's largest theme park and has some of the highest, tallest and fastest rides in the world. The other attractions are seeing handlers wrestle, play and swim with tigers in the tiger safari. You could cuddle a koala in the Australian wildlife experience or go spotlighting in the sunset safari. And there is Scream world to send you in shivers after dark.
