Keeping this in mind we have created an 9 nights romantic getaway that allows you to soak in the best  - Historic Dunedin, Journey to Breath taking Milford Sound, Adventure Capital  of the world Queenstown and majestic Mt. Cook National Park.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrive at Christchurch airport.
On arrival in Christchurch, “The Garden City”, your Kiwi vacation begins with a transfer to your hotel (approx 45mins). Car will be delivered to your hotel in the evening (self drive option). Overnight at Christchurch. 

Day 2: Overnight at Christchurch.
Day free for exploring.

Day 3: Christchurch- Dunedin (5 to 6 hrs).
Travel south across the Cantebury Plains through the towns of Timaru and Oamaru to reach the Scottish influenced city of Dunedin, renowned for it”s natural history and Otago University.

Day 4: Overnight at Dunedin.
Day free for exploring.

Day 5: Dunedin to Te Anau (5 hrs approx).
This morning is free for optional activities before departing Dunedin crossing the Southland Plains through the towns of Balclutha and Gore to Te Anau.

Day 6: Te Anau- Milford Sound - Queenstown (12 hrs).
Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown. Overnight at Queenstown. 

Day 7: Queenstown.
The place offers an opportunity to explore some adrenalin raising attractions like Bungee jumping, jet boating, White water rafting, Gondola rides and more. Optional activities not included in tour price. Overnight at Queenstown.

Day 8: Overnight at Queenstown.
Day free for exploring.

Day 9: Queenstown to Christchurch (8 to 9 hrs).
Travel through the Central Otago region to Lake Pukaki and Mt. Cook, or as known in Maori Aorangi, the cloud piercer. Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo before travelling across the Canterbury Plains to arrive in Christchurch.

Day 10: Christchurch.
Final departure for outbound flight - Christchurch hotel to Christchurch airport drop is included.
